Applicant Testimonials

ROV Superintendent, Offshore Construction Manager, ROV and DSV Field Engineer Tom Cumming

I've found Etpm has always been good to deal with. I've had good positions on good rates and have no concerns working through Etpm long term. A position sampling the wine on Mr Abramovich's yacht would have been nice, but I suppose you can't have everything.

Rigging Supervisor Rov, Survey, Construction, FPSO & DSV Jason Mckay

I have been with ETPM for a few years now. And I have been kept busy when I need work,  I find every time I call the office with a problem or a question it gets sorted as soon as they can. I have found over the last year or so that they are getting more and more work in and with the bigger construction companies. I intend to stay with ETPM as long as they have me.

Offshore Construction Manager, IMCA Saturation Diving Superintendent & Client Representative Reg Follett

I am fortunate to have operated on both sides of the fence with Etpm.

Recently, as an OCM on a N Sea based DSV, my company would very often fail to come up with key personnel for lump sum diving tasks. All I needed to do was to call or email Etpm, not taking too much notice of office hours or weekends, and I could rely on a swift response with a list of competent persons whether it be dive supv, riggers, crane ops, 3.4's or whatever. I was grateful for the service.

More recently, as a registered contract person with Etpm, I am able to put what I want to do, when I want to do it and Etpm will usually come up with something, probably as a result of extensive networking with the right people who dish out all the major contractors personnel requirements. Much better than short notice jump on a jet and go kind of recruitment.

Monthly invoicing is simple with only one sheet, great for the offshore journeyman.

I intend to continue having Etpm take care of my working programme. I like the touch.

Operations, Project & Diving Interface Manager - freelance (Epc, Acergy / Subsea 7, Bluestream, Hallin, Dulam & Seahold)  Richard Parker

Etpm are a well balanced company, focussed on the Client, work at hand and employees in equal measure. Commensurate with industry standard expectations, and entirely reliable in all matters relating to salary.

Long term industry associations and experience provide a continuous flow of opportunities that have maintained consistent work availability.

A well balanced mixture of reliability driven by professionalism, practicality, and determination to make the most of work relationships leads to a well established social contract within ETPM. “Work hard, have fun”, epitomises the concept.
Willingness to understand issues as they arise and to modify process accordingly, to ensure useful learning outcomes develop into progress.

The value of personal contact, in what can easily become a very impersonal industry, cannot be overemphasised: there would never be any doubt about referring for advice or help within ETPM.

Highly unlikely, after long experience of the industry and the vicissitudes presented during that time, that having found an environment such as ETPM that I would move elsewhere.

"I have been working for Etpm since Feb 2011. Since then they have provided me with a steady flow of work. The staff have always been very approachable and keep you up to date with future events. They are an excellent employer and I will be staying with Etpm long term."

Newbuild Marine Consultant/Chief Engineer Malcolm Robertson

ETPM have consistently found me interesting projects to be involved in, from Chief Engineer positions to Newbuild projects. They act in professional manner yet take the time to get know there employees on a personal level. I have enjoyed 3 years contracting with them, paid on time and they are able to keep me in work once a project finishes by finding the next appointment as soon as they can, it's as close to job security as you can get in these demanding times.

Any issues are dealt with promptly, and a courtesy follow up call is made to ensure everything has been settled, which is appreciated.

Saturation Superintendent & Offshore Construction Manager - Andre van Heerden

Having been involved with the Maersk IRM program during the summer of 2010, I had the opportunity to deal with ETPM who secured and supplied supervisory diving personnel to the project.  I found their service to be reliable and professional.  The personnel who were introduced to the project were suitable for the job and turned out to be an asset to the team.  The contract was completed to Maersk satisfaction.  During this year I have been employed through ETPM, I find that they are very pro-active in securing work.  They have good business relationships with major companies in various parts of the world.  I find the staff to be knowledegable and helpful in keeping one updated and informed about potential projects.  Invoices have always been settled on time.  I hope that I will be part of the ETPM team for years to come.

Air Diving Superintendent (Rib/Daughter Craft Specialist) & Senior Saturation Diving Supervisor AODC 1852 - Roger Stott

Having worked for ETPM since February of 2010, I can say that I am entirely satisfied with our arrangement.  People in the office are approachable and always ready to help.  The work offered has been plentiful and varied, reflecting the solid position of ETPM within the industry.  Pay is always on time and backup when in foreign locations has been excellent.  For anyone such as myself who does not wish to be tied to a single company, this is the agency to be with.

Rigger - Specialist on Plough/Wind Farm, DSV, ROV/Survey Vessles - Paul Carr

This letter serves to confirm that as an employee of ETPM for the last two years I feel I have been well looked after by an enthusiastic team of people who are motivated to keep us in good work and seem well connected in the offshore industry.  I have been kept busy in an industry that is notoriously up and down and have never had any problem regarding wages, travel details or accommodation.  Being a really approachable team, I have become very friendly with the people that deal with my many queries and this makes working with ETPM a pleasure and I am therefore certain I will  be with them for a long while yet.

Senior Crane Operator - Multi-Operations & Multi-sector Experienced - Ben Sutherland

I have no plans to move from ETPM.  They are well connected throughout the industry and keep me busy.  ETPM are fun to work with making you feel part of the team.

Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) specialising in DP vessels - Ewan Carney

I have been with ETPM since the beginning of the company and I have been in steady employment ever since. Pay cheques arrive on time and should there be a problem, there never has, I know I can call the lads and it would be sorted immediately, what more can I say?!

IMCA Saturation Diving Superintendent/Supervisor & Client Sat Dive Representative David Wilkinson

ETPM operate in a very professional manner, but at the same time remain friendly, and approachable.

As an employee I feel as though I am actually valued, and not just another number on a timesheet. The staff are efficient, and polite, and on occasion have gone out of their way to try and accommodate my needs. Payment is made promptly each month, and is never late. For me this inspires a confidence in ETPM which has been lacking in some of my previous employers.

ETPM have a very impressive client base, and I have never been short of job opportunities.
I would have no reservations about recommending ETPM to others, and I am happy to stay in their employ for the foreseeable future.
